Ballistic Overkill will bring you a brand new update! The outstanding points are new capabilities for each class, also the game mode and other upgrades too, which will cause the game mode to be more stable. Let’s check out the skills and some changes of game mode now!
Main Upgrades
-Performance upgrade
The game is more stable, and it doesn’t have many bugs or any problems throughout a match currently. You should send your report to the forums if you find out any issues when joining a match in the game that surpasses the minimum requirements.
-Resupply stations shuffling
This is still in testing, and it isn’t over yet. The development team is still investigating the switches in the game with the brand new resupply delivery on the map. The team always want to know about if the players are camping or if they are scared of leaving the starting point or not. There will be more changes taking place in future.
-New Mode – Capture Point
Berserker
Class Traits and Skills
• New Skill – Cover in Plain Sight
• While running, Berserker is unsighted on the map.
Skill – Bloodlust
• Damage amount stack developed from 3% to 4%
Vanguard
Vanguard has a powerful characteristic along with his “on skill regeneration”. Possessing Scavenger and one of the elements can put him above other classes.
Scavenger is already removed as a trait and the team attached it as Skill instead. Being paired with some of the switches in his skills, he would be brought to the similar tier to other classes.
Class Traits and Skills
• Trait – Scavenger cancelled
• New Skill – Scavenger: When moving over a dead body, Vanguard will regenerate more than 50% of his max ammo and more than 1 grenade. In addition, Vanguard will achieve more than 10% damage resistance
• Skill – Carelessness cancelled
• New Skill – Modified DNA: Vanguard obtains more than 15% max health.
• Trait – Regeneration: Life for each second nerfed from 2.5% to 2.0%
• Skill – Weapons Expert: added +5% damage resistance
• Skill – Action Hero: The preciseness when making a move developed to 40% and damage resistance against the explosions decreased to 30%.
Weapon Balance
• Heavy metal estimation of fire and damage decreased gently.
Wraith
The official change in Wraith arrives in the shape of a nerf to the Lethal skill. The skill was kind of complete, which permits players to gather it without considering. The additional range from this skill was cancelled, and a new skill was added. The will help to make discrepant Wraith builds permitting more variety.
Class Traits and Skills
• New Skill – Combat Wraith: Wraith obtains +15% damage resistance, =10% meters to the weapons’ range and 5% running speed.
• Skill – Lethal: +10 meters to weapons’ range cancelled
• Skill – Elite Shooter: Developed the reload speed and rate of fire per kill to 10% and 5% respectively.
Shadow
Class Traits and Skills
• New Skill – Vampire: Shadow regenerates +10% health with every melee attack. In addition, backstabs regenerate 100% health.
Weapon Balance
• Switchblade rate of fire decreased gently
Grenadier
While Grenadier should have gotten more grenades than other classes, the additional grandes trait was adding grenade spam a lot. To dodge this, the development team has switched it to a grenade recovery trait. Grenadier also got a bunch of indirect switches due to the alterations in his grenade launchers. Once again, the objective with the switches is to cause the grenadier not to be spam friendly.
Class Traits and Skills
• Trait – Trait – +2 Grenades cancelled
• Trait – Grenade Regeneration attached: When the grenades run out, Grenadier regains +1 grenade after 8 seconds. (Grenade can never get +1 grenade at once)
New Skill – Restraint
• Grenadier obtains +50% explosive damage, but he loses -75% explosive range along with grenades and grenade launchers.
Weapon Balance
• The maximum damage of Grenade launchers decreased slightly, the minimum damage developed and range reduced: the decreased max damage is not as terrible as it sounds due to the straight hit fix. In general, straight hits and close hits can become much better than they used to be, whilst the medium range hits are strongly nerfed.
Tank
Class Traits and Skills
• New Skill – Last Stand: Tank withstands death within 5 seconds
Fixes
Reset all loadouts
• The players were utilizing weapons they shouldn’t use. To repair this, as well as dodge the bugs regarding new skills, the development team have made a decision on resetting the loadouts of the players when they first launch the game.
Server list now displays the ping in dedicated servers

• The reason that ping is not shown for each player made matches is that Steam doesn’t give accurate info in this situation. In player matches, the country and region will be displayed.
Grenade launcher projectiles now give out max damage in straight hits
• Grenade damage was counted by the distance between the player and explosion. The issue with this system is the beginning of a player and it is somewhere else between the feet. Striking a grenade right the head of the player would give out less damage than striking closer to his feet. This problem is now resolved, and the grenades give out maximum damage on straight hits. To make up for that, the equilibrium of grenade launchers was altered.
Reset Loadouts without leaving the game
• Warning: Hiccup will happen when doing this, but, as far as we learn, no other setbacks here.
Projectiles from Grenade Launchers now give out damage even if the player firing it is killed
Fixed grenades giving out damage to previous teammates when changing teams
Updated some of the skill icons
Fixed Capturable Point UI color
Server list currently defaults to amount of players
